Member of CIA arrested for transmitting US info on Israel to Iran
It would seem that the CIA is, at the least, partially responsible for the knowledge Iran has when it comes to Israel. Like Israel or not, supporting a regime that constantly calls for the deaths of the US and others seems to not be the best choice. Iran is well known to financially support groups that even other Muslims call terrorists, so them getting US intelligence is a bad thing. People need to understand the implications of this member of the US intelligence community.
There is also the problem of US intelligence basically becoming a sieve, which puts Americans and American allies in danger. There is the risk of classified equipment becoming available to those despots and terrorists around the world. People are getting to understand how broken our intelligence services are, along with the fact they are a wasteful drain on tax dollars. That is a lot of the reason for why Trump appointed Gabbard.
The Arrest
Here, via a Department of Justice press release, is the facts they released.

A U.S. government employee working overseas was charged with unlawfully transmitting two highly sensitive classified documents last month.
According to court documents, Asif William Rahman, 34, held a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance as part of his role working for the U.S. government. According to an indictment filed in the Eastern District of Virginia on Nov. 7, Rahman, on or about Oct. 17, retained without authorization two documents classified at the Top Secret/SCI level, which contained information relating to national defense, and transmitted those documents to a person not entitled to receive them.
Rahman made his initial appearance in federal court in Guam on Nov. 14. The court ordered Rahman’s continued detention and removal from the District of Guam for further court hearings in the Eastern District of Virginia.

A CIA official identified as Asif William Rahaman was arrested in Cambodia for allegedly leaking highly classified US intelligence documents about Israel’s retaliation plans against Iran. Asif W Rahaman was able to access the sensitive files as he held a top-secret security clearance, reports said. Following his arrest on Tuesday, the accused will be transported to a federal court in Guam, US media reports said.
It was the New York Times that broke the news of Asif W Rahaman's indictment. It happened last Thursday "for willfully retaining and transmitting national defense information," CNN reported quoting court documents. According to the news reports, in Guam, the Justice Department would seek permission to move him to Virginia to stand trial.
According to the indictment, which is dated November 7, investigators believe the leak took place in Cambodia. It charges Asif William Rahman with two counts of willfully transmitting classified information. These felony charges can carry significant prison sentences. However, it does not provide details about the nature of the leak, Reuters said in a report.
The said leak occurred on or about October 17 when a pro-Iranian Telegram account called "Middle East Spectator" published what appeared to be a pair of documents produced by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency. NGIA is entrusted with the job of analyzing images and information collected by US spy satellites, reports said.
The documents narrated Israel's preparations for an attack on Iran. The information revealed by the documents was based on satellite imagery from Oct. 15-16. They included vital information like the type of missiles, planes and other aircraft the Israel Defence Force (IDF) could use against Tehran
The Middle East Spectator had earlier said that it received the documents through an anonymous source. It also maintained that it had no connection to the original leaker nor could it verify the authenticity of the documents.
Later the same month, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) confirmed it was investigating the leak to apprehend the source.
There comes a point when the citizens of this nation need to demand more fixes and fewer demands for money.
